With the assistance of grants totaling $13,690 from the Gulf Coast Resouce and Development Council (Gulf Coast RC&D), Citizens For A Better Grand Bay began work on clearing the underbrush and invasive species of trees and shrubs.
Preferred Tree Cutters worked for 2 weeks to cut and carry away the dead and damaged trees and debris.
Work will continue as funds are made available. For now, the park is walkable, and hopefully, in a few weeks we will be holding out the first event at the park.
